Or wherever you go when the sandman eludes you. Not that I have access to one. I just wanted the familiar syllables to come through.
That moment when you feel restless at 1 am. Why? Because you can't seem to stop. Stop that brain from its hyper-drive. Sometimes I really don't know if I will ever be able to break this habit.
It's not always prudent to go with your gut, especially when you have to be in bed so that you can earn the next day's worth to fill it.
I've struggled with this for years. And have been unsuccessful in addressing it for the most part.
I suck at punctuality. Big time!
Sure, I am ambitious and have a lot of dreams like most of us do. But it's when they eat into my sleep that I have a problem. Albeit it wouldn't be a probl....Shut up Joe! There's no justifying bad sleep habits. Period!

I guess being restless because of certain tasks or mini goals stems from the fact that some of us tend to thrive on the drug that is 'momentum.' Some others are highly obsessive. (Not me.. What you laughing at?.. I'm not! ) And then some are just incredibly driven.
If you've seen the movie 'Limitless' you might get the visuals down fancier than a monochromatic screen of text.
While I'm no Bradley Cooper or Bob De Niro, being able to constantly attack those micro goals is what I live for. I'm sure some of you do too. Message me below. I'd love to hear how you guys tackle goal derived insomnia.
Or maybe it's not some holy grail that I should be chasing in trying to address this.
Maybe it just comes down to that one age old remedy.
Discipline. (But I suck at that too. :P Oh well, Always Be Learning)
